10/14/15 Chelsea, Shawsheen, Gr. Lowell @ Gr. Lawrence
In the boy’s race, Chelsea was on the losing side of all three meets. Despite this they finished the CAC regular season at 5-5. All three of these teams faced were undefeated going into this meet. These three teams have won the league nine out of the last ten years (Chelsea won in 2010). Jose Aguiar who is running his first season of cross country ran a gutsy race to finish tenth overall. He went out real fast and ran out of gas at the end. “This was a learning curve for Jose, when we face these teams in two weeks, he will have a better idea where he stands in this race and how to run it a little smarter.” says Fay. Next for Chelsea was Jansel Claudio in eighteenth and Johnny Gomez in nineteenth. Adriel Cedano was twenty second and Diego Estrada finished twenty fifth for Chelsea.
We are also a pretty small team this year but we are running well as a team and improving each week.
The boy’s are running against Everett and Medford this week and are also participating in the Gr. Lowell relay race this Saturday.
