Girl Results
We knew it would be difficult to win the CAC league meet with the number of girls on the team, but it was a true team effort, as all EIGHT girls representing the school scored points for the team. Chelsea was the second smallest team at the meet, as most teams had double the amount of girls competing other than Northeast. This was Chelsea 3rd indoor CAC league meet title in a row. The girls won by the narrowest of margins with 82 points, as Greater Lowell scored 81 points. There were some key 6th place finishes from Percy Melgar (1000), and Angeline Nguyen (600), which led to the win, because without either we would have tied GL. Because the team was so small, we had to run girls in many events they were not used to, but because they were so willing, the girls had a lot of success this year. We had three girls worthy of league MVP status. Stephanie Simon was our top point getter of the day with 30, winning 3 events. Gloria Rodriguez would finish the season undefeated against conference opponents in her events. Ana Chang would win the award, as she would go undefeated in the 600 this season (her first season ever running the event, and no other girl came within 12-15 seconds of beating her), and would consistently open an insurmountable gap in the 4 x 400, keeping the relay on the winning side all season. The final scoring breakdown was Chelsea (82), Greater Lowell (81), Lynn Tech/Notre Dame (79), Greater Lawrence (47), and Northeast (18).

Boy Results
The boys had a decent meet, but it was not enough to surpass a very strong Greater Lowell team. The boys finished in 3rd with 64 points. Most events went as well as they could have. Despite the loss there were some impressive performances. Richard Flores would throw almost two feet further than he ever has in the shotput to place second in the event. Freshman Nate Nadow would run his fastest time in the Lynn facility this season to place second in the event, followed closely by Oscar Amaya in 3rd. Hector Rivera and Quan Vu would have their best hurdle races of the season, placing 5th and 6th. Jazmany Reyes was our top point-getter of the day in a tough double with a 1st in the 2 mile, and a 3rd in the mile. The final scoring breakdown was Greater Lowell (85), Greater Lawrence (66), Chelsea (64), Lynn Tech (42), Northeast (40).
